2013

It's been a while since I have added a new post to this blog. It's my goal to be more devoted to this blog. This year should be even more exciting than last year in the garden. I will be focusing on growing vegetables, fruits, and herbs from seeds this year. I am also experimenting with growing a variety of plants in five and six and a half gallon buckets. Hopefully I can expand the vegetable garden this year by fencing off another section of my property and adding some irrigation. I have been able to harvest some things from my winter garden this year. The daikon radish, kale, lettuce, and arugula have done really well. The spinach, beets, carrots have not done as well, but are still growing. It's exciting to see what will grow here throughout the year. As my garden continues to grow and I explore different wild plants I will carry on with this blog.
